The application of computer control system in feed factory production can effectively improve production efficiency and contribute to scientific management, and ensure the continuous and reliable operation of the production line and stable product quality. Therefore, in domestic established and new feed factory, computer control system has become the basic configuration.

Compared with more chemical treatments in oil and fat factory, the feed factory mainly uses physical treatment (such as screening, crushing, granulating, puffing, mixing, etc.) in the process of continuous material transportation. The control parameters required by the control system are as follows: (1) whether the equipment is overloaded, deviating, chain broken, overheating or stalling and whether the gate valve is on or off. (2) whether there is material shortage or material blocking in each section. These parameters require only two states – ON or OFF, which require no need for the sensor to detect its continuous variation. Secondly, in the section where granulating, puffing, crushing and batching require real-time speed regulation, the inverter completes the precise speed regulation according to the procedural requirements, and simultaneously inputs the continuous variation value (analog quantity) of the speed to the control system. (3) In the steam supply system, the control system needs the continuous variation value of steam temperature when PID control the steam regulating valve, which is also the analog quantity. Therefore, in feed factory, most sensors need to output switch signal while a few sensors need to output analog quantity. The type of sensor is described below.

Level Sensor

It is mainly used to detect the material position of raw material warehouse and hopper of each section. When a high material position is detected, the control system will stop feeding; when a low material position is detected, the control system will alarm.
